I made a nice lightweight grille. This is made from aluminum perf metal , some rubber edge molding, stainless hardware. etc. I first installed it, leaving the raw aluminum finish, to see what it would look like against my silver car......I liked it...but then I shot it black..........................and that is my preference. It works with the rest of my trim and contrasts nicely with the silver paint. What do you think?....I like it.

PS: I thought that using this perf metal was an original idea....until I ran into Scooter this weekend at a local gathering of the Porsche herd........and he already had done his grille in a similar fashion (mounted under the deck....very cool)...so I have to give credit where it is due...I'm hoping that great minds think alike.
