I gots 48 eggs.
I'm gonna divide 'em by a number.
What number, you ask?
Why that number is 2(9 + 3).
Anybody disagree that 2(9 + 3)=24?
If yes, return to 8th grade Beginning Algebra.
Anybody disagree that 48 divided by 24 is 2?
If yes, return to 3rd grade.
Sheesh.

It is funny that the ones most insistent they are right, and insulting about it are the ones who have it wrong.
48÷2(9+3) Start
Step one,
Perenthesis, gives us:
48÷2(12)
Next step,
Exponents. None of those, so we move on to
Multiplication and
Division, going left to right.
48÷2 = 24, leaving us
24(12)
24*12 = 288
We will ignore
AS because we are done.
