The iPad is where we should have started out for casual browsing/email, if technology had permitted. We've been using way too much computing power for what we do 98% of the time; and power computer users have been saddled with fluff they don't need (Windows) and rooting it down.
So, finally, we're nearing a place where the device is matching the user's needs.
