So the consensus is:
"Lets all be rude to everyone who tries to do some kind of work that is beneath our standards because they tried to sell us something.
Lets treat them like dirt! Yeah, lets even threaten them. Great. After all, if that guy going door to door isn't smart enough to own a Porsche, he can't be worth anything. Right? I mean, he worked his azz off to try to get a GED but since he's not as good as us he can't be honest or want to feed a family. Right? So, get off my front steps, don't call me, don't even think about it. I'm better than you because I'm smarter, have a better job, and a bigger shotgun. I should shoot you for just trying to sell me something."
Then, lets all wonder why they think folks with nice cars and houses are jerks and say "what's the sense of trying" and go back to burglarizing houses and key-jobbing Porsches in the parking lot for no reason. Good plan.
