with leaf springs, 1/4 ellipticals, coilovers, air bags, shocks or a combination of, not quite as rough a ride as a hardtail harley. cruisin at 65-70, you're more concerned about parts falling off than a comfortable ride.. so it's sort of like a hardtail harley

not when you're moving. when stopped for redlights or bumper to bumper traffic.. think smoke from the average Porsche oil leak on exhaust
the people that hate rat rods the most are people with high dollar restored classic/street rod cars. they tend to get pissed after spending all day waxing, polishing, and wiping off specks of dust with their special little dust wiping brush on their 60k car and some low life in a junk car built with junk yard parts wins a top ten car show trophy exactly like the one he won for top 10. that's one reason I like rat rods
