I was curious which valve dropped and where it broke? We had tremendous problems breaking valve in the #2 cylinder on my race engine, even though we had dual springs (320# nose pressure) with titanium retainers, stainless valves and type 1 lifters. We also had but have since changed, 1.48:1 rockers and heavy(54gm) push rods. We think the push rods were making the valves float, even at 6000 RPM and now have some crmo 16gm rods and went back to a stock ratio rocker. So far in the races since, no valve breakage?
