Kinda like the x51 upgrade for the 997.

Well that does sound like it's worth doing.
50 extra ponies.... that will not go unnoticed.
I still need cams for my rebuild too, don't know which ones yet. (964 or 993 supersport profile.)
Do I really need to get my rockers resurfaced and rehardend too?? that is gonna cost me some more...
I'm also wonderiing, with the upgrades I have. (hot wire air meter, sporty cams, SSI's, M&K muffler) I will need a costum chip.
But once my rebuild is ready and installed, it will drive like shyt because the chip isn't set up fr the upgrades.
Do I take it to the dyno and get the chip updated with a not yet broken in engine?? (my giess is they will go thruoght the entire rev range to get the chip setup for optimal tuning) Or do I break it in with an old chip which it will make it drive horribly??
(Maybe i'll start a thread iun the tech section too)
