I agree with Ian - if you have the bucks the Four Seasons is the best - and if Luther is still the door man at night - he is the very best guy on the strip.

Trump isn't bad, they have tiny kitchens which is nice - and the bathrooms are really nice - we bubbled (using bath bubbles from the bath store in the mall across the street) up the jet tub when I stayed there and got the bubbles up to 5 feet above the edge of the tub. But it is a ways back off the strip - you can always walk through the Fashion Mall to get to places though. They have only one somewhat pricey restaurant and no casino (which I think is a good thing) - but there are a ton of restaurants at the mall -
