Left over from the day: A Nishiki Alan carbon /aluminum hybrid. This frame was built in the 80s in Italy for Nishiki and the carbon tubes were glue into aluminum lugs. The forks were aluminum. I first built this frame as a single speed weighting around ten pounds but it flexed so badly that I changed it to a road bike. It still flexed too much to enjoy so I went back to my Masi GC.
The Look step-ins may help you date this creature.
The hybrid Alan could be the first carbon hybrids ever produce in any quantity.
