Yup, I've been using them for 10 years now.

Since Philips bought the company, they introduced a new, swanky design with the "ultraviolet chamber" for the brush heads - which is about about 2/3rds as powerful as the original design (as demonstrated by running both in a glass of water side-by-side, which my Periodonist delights in doing to the Rep every time he comes by).

It's not how much the head moves, it's the ultrasonic wave generated by the head that cleans where the bristles don't reach.

Buy the "Classic". Don't drop it in the sink, I've killed two that way.
