I am done with bleeding into a machine. They took two units of red blood cells and gave me back the plasma and platelets. The weird part is when they are returning the parts they don't want they add an anti-coagulant. It makes my lips tingle. It is a strange feeling, kinda like my lips are vibrating.
The nurse that took me into the interview room for the initial questions was a real cutie. Usually that person is the one to take the blood. They pulled a fast one on me, I had a ugly dude run the apheresis machine. At least I got to look at the cutie.
They gave me a couple of chocolate chip cookies. They were darn good!
