I hear you Dean, but our local DMV's in San Diego, LA, SF, are so used to seeing ROW and exotics they know all the tricks. I took my 84 euro to them for a VIN verification and the inspector pointed out my front ( US required) side markers were missing, because i removed them and restored teh car back to ROW spec! :-)
