My Dad has a 560SL in a light gold color that he's going to sell. Having drove it I would not want one - heavy and a gas hog - but admittedly I have been crusing Craigs list, Ebay, and auto trader with dreams in my head of owning a '68-70's 280 SL. Right up there with the 3.0 BMW...classic lines and sexy.
Then today I was waiting for my son to finish his training class and wandered over to a place called
Cavollo Motors. They had a nice '79 SC in silver/black. I sat in it and was immediately IN LOVE. I have to get my butt into another 911 soon. That example was (IMO) way over priced but the fire is stoked.
