Any good contractor can build a low wall and mount a Home Depot shower door on each side; My advice is to make sure you replace the pan when you do this.


Permit? You decide. You are breaking plumbing; In most jurisdictions that = permit.

PS: I utterly LOVE "mid-century modern"! My 1962 house has a second bathroom that I probably will NOT renovate because it still has ALL the early 60's fittings and matching tile! Sadly, the terrazzo in my house was tiled over, and it would have been prohibitively expensive to repair it.
