My sons lean towards the GT convertibles. The 4.6 and 5.0 move pretty well especially with some suspension upgrades. Helps to have someone (me) who is willing to replace window motors, stereos, odometer gears, and a gazillion other things.
I think they're going to hold on to them for some time. They've heard me cry about the '55 Chevys I let go when I was kid.
