I also was curious to wade through your past posts. What they seem to share is a shotgun of a question with few specifics. These are tough to answer. Typically folks will use the Search facility, or dig up documentation such that they can approach this 'board with a more refined question - too broad and nobody will attempt a reply.

But don't let these answers from the rowdy bunch that make up this 'board dissuade you. I sense that you don't have a lot of help with your car in Boston and that you are really on your own. You could hook up with the PCA or equiv. and get a bit of hand-holding. Certainly those dreaded Zeniths are going to make folks back away like you have West Nile.

In all events a bit of patience and study will reap rewards. I think a '71 Targa is a helluva car to work with and so you do have a very nice platform with which to start. Just don't start with the rust questions!
