We have a 2006 FX35 which I think is the same as the 2007. We are not fans of the suspension at all. I am all for a firm suspension, but the car loses composure going over bumps. If you hit a small bump while turning, the whole back end seems to jump out. I would suggest an extended test drive on some rough roads before signing the final papers. Otherwise, comfort-wise, the car is very nice.

Gas mileage is rather poor though. We just did a 500 mile road trip and got 22 mpg going 70 to 75 mph. I wish it got another 5 mpg. City mileage is poor and we are lucky to get 18, but 16 is the norm.

Lastly, one thing to watch out for is the gear that moves the seat backwards and forwards. There is a plastic gear that moves the seat that can sometimes strip. The official repair is apparently very expensive, but you can buy an aftermarket piece to fix it. If the seat doesn't move smoothly, it might be that gear.

Good luck.
