Thanks peppy and everyone, for the info - I bought one of these

True Refrigeration T-23-2 (23 cu. ft Solid 1/2 Door Reach-in Refrigerator - Bottom Mount) from Select Appliance Kitchen & Cooking

though paid less. Wife and I debated the glass door model, but decided we're just not that stylish with our ketchup, plus the energy consumption is close to 2X the solid door models. But we couldn't resist the double door model.

Unfort, 3 weeks + for delivery, so I get to shop for food every day - I guess I'm just living the European lifestyle. Pulled off the overhead cabinet, borrowed a little dorm fridge, getting ready to tear out the drywalled refrigerator alcove.

Now, what do I do for the freezer? We have a big freezer in the basement, but I'd like ice cream etc to be handy in the kitchen.

This is cool, but pretty darned expensive - and do I really need 34+ cubic feet of refrigeration? I haven't slaughtered a cow lately.
True - T-23DT 27" Solid Door Dual Temperature Reach-In

Wife likes this, mount at waist height with cabinetry below
True - TUC-27F-D-2 28" Undercounter Freezer w/ Drawers

I think if it's going to be raised, might as well mount at chest height and save $ with this
