Charlie's Vette looked like a Gran Sport Clone before I knew what that was and according to him had a Chevrolet 427 built by Ed Pink.

It also had vents cut in the body behind the wheel wells and an adjustable rear spoiler ala Nascar. I saw the car often but never without the hood.

Charlie did some Hi Performance tuning ( valve adjustments ) on a few of my Camaro's back in the day. I wish I could find a picture of the Vette sitting in the Chevron gas station on NWC of Crescent Heights & Beverly Blvd.
