Well, it was a decent morning for working on the engine. I was down to doing the cams for starters. I had to measure the chain depth and follow the Carrera numerics for resolving the depth of the gears.
Locked everything up and set the pins. The spec is 1.1 to 1.4 with 1.25 being target. I always build to the high number and came in at 1.36 and 1.38 but the 1.38 didn't come in until I rotated the gear one link.
I got tired of walking around the exhaust..
I checked the cam oil lines to make sure all 9 were squirting freely. I use either WD40 or Mystery oil, squirt can and air pressure.
