I saw this on a car the other day and thought it was cute.

We rescued a lab mix of some kind last December. My wife had been talking about getting a dog for a while. I however had always been reluctant. I grew up with dogs and knew the responsibility well. With two boys and an average sized house with a small yard I was concerned. Then we met Sammy at a shelter, she needed rescuing - her time was up at the shelter.
We took her home, the first few weeks were touch and go and it almost didn't work (mainly because of me) but I swallowed my reluctance to commit and got in the game.
She's my shadow now of course. I work from home and she will lay right next to me while I work and snore away all day long. If I get up, she gets up and follows. We play, we walk and she's been great for everyone. I'm more active with her around so I firmly believe that she has rescued me.
