Take the 2.4 bottom end (case, crank and rods) use the 2.2 T heads (port to 36mm)
and by a set of AA 86mm cylinders with JE pistons (9.5:1). Add a set of mod "S" cams. With the 40mm Webers you have a 180+ engine.

Edit: it looks like I read it wrong. When I first read the post I thought you had the 2.4 CIS engine as well. If not just buy a 2.4-2.7 crank & rods and build the same engine
