[IROC]

Like many others in the southeast, our house took a beating in the storms a few weeks ago. We need a new roof, new siding, new gutters, downspouts, garage doors - even a new mailbox (luckily all the cars were in the garage).

The house is brick on the front and three sides are vinyl siding. We're getting quotes for replacing the vinyl, going to hardie board, etc., but one of our neighbors has gotten a quote to simply brick their whole house (and are claiming it is a only a couple of thousand $ more than vinyl). Is it truly that easy? Is there nothing else that has to be done? I would have thought that it would have major impacts to brick a house after it's already built I realize that given enough money, anything is possible...).

Any experiences doing something like this?
