I was offered a free (ethernet) thermostat (by our hydro provider), if I gave them the right to turn my AC off during 'peak hours'. No thanks.
And I don't even use my AC.
But I would like to be able to arm/disarm my home alarm and set my thermostat from my phone. I just don't want anyone else to do it.
