It is raining hard and lot of of lightning. My 8 mile commute to work takes me down a road that goes through the middle of the antenna farm. There are well over a dozen radio & television antennas in the area. They are real lightning attractors. I have seen lightning zap them several times in a few seconds.
Dave, our pilot was real happy the weather in the Baton Rouge was cloudy yesterday. He did not have to go. He has made 3 round trips down there shooting the flooding. He will go back this weekend, then up to Kansas and back to Houston. He has been flying over 30 hours a week for the last few weeks.
Just the gas alone costs about 600 to 700 bucks to make one round trip to Baton Rouge.
Happy Friday!
