I support the tint laws. You want anonymity, hire a limo. If I were a LEO, I'd be real concerned about tint. Even with the driver's window rolled down completely, there's not enough view of the interior.
But what my most important objection to dark tint is stems from having to follow a blacked out car. Not a low F 430, but any SUV that I might be behind prevents me from seeing ahead. You all know out on the track you are looking as far ahead as possible. With turns and elevation, it's easy. On the highway, it's not. I stay back far enough, but I'd still like fair warning if someone is about to nail the brakes because they were asleep at the wheel.
I need to see 2-3 cars ahead to be comfortable.
