Rust is expensive. Engines are cheap. If there is no rust repair needed, $8k is not a bad price. Not all GEX engine will self machine themselvs into dust. If the engine rus good, oil looks clean. Buy it but try to talk him down a little. Build a new engine on the side while you drive it and have fun.
