Sure I wear a Kilt. Have for over 45 years. Yes, you go commando. No, there's nothing worn under there, it's all in perfect working condition.

There are few outer garments that can go from mucking out a barn to meeting the Queen and be perfectly acceptable. But a Kilt can.

You can order them in different weight wool. The best grade are quite heavy and extremely durable. They are often passed down to sons. They are comfortable.

Although tartans are made in a wide variety, there is no historical connection between a tartan and a particular clan. That nonsense was made up during Queen Victoria's time, and the lie stuck.

I often wear my kilt to hunt in and for formal functions including business meetings. Only in America are men so insecure to make fun of it. And after a double entendre reply about their interest, they are so embarrassed they just try to hide. It is great fun.
