A factory ducktail in decent condition goes for somewhere in the neighborhood of $4K. Factory flares (which are different than SC flares, I think), the wheels, etc.
And it is still not a Carrera. I wouldn't buy a US Carrera at today's prices, but a material premium to a '74-77 seems warranted, particularly for the 1974s.
