In my mid 40's, I can't complain (too much  ).... That said....
Most of my German cars were bought CHEAP with problems over a couple decades. I am a sucker for hardcore DIY projects. I probably spend less per year on all my motorized vehicles/hobbies combined than what many here spend on one track/hobby car.
