I jumped off the slack wagon for a while today. We actually slept until 8:00 AM and I did not bother to take a morning shower. After slacking until 10:15 I just could not take it anymore. I went to the garage. I did some clean-up and just puttered around. I made a food run at 11:00 and after lunch I edged & mowed the yard. Then I decided to attack the A/C on the El Camino.
Back in February I replaced the compressor and accumulator but since it was only 70 degrees at the time I could not get a good charge on the refrigerant. Today it was almost 90 so I figured it was time to check the pressures. Pressures were low so I added so cool juice and now it is blowing 36 degree air at max blower. I took a 7 mile test drive and enjoyed the cold air. As I got out my glasses fogged up.

I got in the Elky feeling very HOT, and after just 7 miles I was feeling almost cold. Damn I love that vehicle.
