So if #197 is documented to originally have the butt welded RS flares that means that somewhere after that number the factory started using the SC quarter panel. My '74 is #469 and it definitely has the SC flare. Now we need some owners who have lower number cars to let us know if their Carreras have the RS flare or the SC flare.
