While visiting with my brother in law last summer in Munich. We went out into the country south toward Austria to pick up his new to him XKE from the restoration shop where it had been renewed. It turned out to be quite an outing as the owner of the shop Mr Jensen came in on sat to meet with us and go out for a drive into Austria. He asked me to pick which of his cars I would like to experience. Here is my pick.

Best I can remember it is a 1972S . I imagine some of you will be able to ID it. But it did run great and could really carve the turns. My first ride in a long hood.
