Thanks Tcar, the logo is the one for Jensen Classics, the resto shop. It comes up at the end of the intro of the web site. That is a nice looking trailer, no? You got to check out the site, good visuals even if you don't speak German.
The shop seemed really first class, and has done plenty of restorations on super nice cars. But the day we went driving into the alps and worked our way into a very dramatic valley for lunch. After lunch the Porsche didn't want to start, no action from the starter, had to push start. Then the XKE started acting up, with misfiring then stalling. ended up having to leave it at a gasthouse in a village for later pick up. Whew, not the kind of
outing Mr Jensen was planning on, I'm sure.
When we got back to Brother in laws house in Munich without the car we had gone to pick up. We got Shall we say lots of funny looks and puzzled questions from his Wife about the pleasures of classic car ownership. With lots of sideway looks in my direction, as I had somewhat encouraging to him with all my talk of the fun I've been having with my SC. OOPS!
I'm always impressed with the eye for detail displayed here on PP BBS.
Cheers Richard
