Jerry, glad you asked. BMW NA for the US had appx 1200 pre orders for the K16's over double what they anticipated which resulted in stopping the pre order program one month early.
My K1600 GT was #3 in the US preorder program and it arrived at San Jose BMW yesterday (wed Jn 2). Unfortunately I won't be able to pick it up until next Tuesday....AARRRGGGG...
. my plan is to ride it around the Santa Cruse Mountains, lunch at Alices ect, oil change that afternoon and off to Wills up in Northern Calif the next day. lots of reporting in and pictures.

Oh Baby, still a ways to go. My first ride on it or any K16 will be first thing Tuesday.
