Rousted Tom up and he let me in, the place is all quiet and dark, coffee is ready just looking and thinking in the quiet. Unlike any feeling that I can remember.

In a few hours the new beast and myself will be riding the roads that are engraved in my memories from so long ago. One of the great things is that for all practical purposes nothing has changed in those Santa Cruz Mountain roads, Alices looks exactly as it did when I first visited on my trusty '72 R75/5 in 1972.

Not all changes are good. On the other hand comparing that R75/5 to this new K1600GT is impossible to describe.... About the only thing that can be said is two wheels.

More later with some more pictures.
