My new Vintage German Spoon
A Luger has always been on my short-list for pistol ownership. I have looked here and there, but never found one which I liked and/or was affordable. My brother was in a local shop getting some archery equipment when he gave me the heads-up that they had a used Luger and P38. Both had been re-blued and both were traded in by the same guy (he used them for CC). I visited the shop about a week later, the P38 had been sold, but the Luger was still there--9MM, marked 1937, all numbers matching including magazine, and the price was right. having been re-blued I knew it had loist alot of value, but I was interested ion a nice "shooter" and this fit the bill. I haven't done any of the major research regarding the markings, but I will in time. Now I need to find a repro holster and I am all set.
