I was running along in 6th yesterday at 1,200 R's with a lite throttle and accelerated up a hill like I was in a lower gear. I left a stop lite yesterday when leaving San Jose, still getting used to the bike and accidently started out in 4th.
The engine heat management seems great, but I have not ridden in temps above about 75F yet.
