I've done all of my development in a LAMP environment... Apache for web hosting, Perl/CGI, PHP and MySQL for DBs. I would basically need to learn beginner to intermediate. There is also a high probability that the company would sponsor should it require funding.

My guess is that learning .Net will not be as big of an issue for you as getting comfortable with Visual Studio.
