I am about to start a head overhaul on a 78 530i. The repair manual states that the rocker arm shafts need to be locked with special pins and gives a BMW part number of 11 1 063. Are these the same as the cylinder head dowel pin in your catalogue (A3170-30863)?
Most of my experience is with VW air cooled engines. Are there any serious gotchas to be aware of on this job?
