Huh, I have one of those. I had something similar that ended up being the door lock, the motor shuts down when the door seems like its closed, but doesnt fully engage the latch, thankfully keeps the drum from spinning suds and wet clothes all over the floor. Try shoving the door closed tightly and wedge a shim in the door to hold it closed, tightly, that was my test. If so, it's a fairly easy and straightforward replacement, about 45 mins work. I dont think I paid more than 100 bucks of so for the assy.
