Had the privilege of hearing a Hammond B3/Leslie speaker system at work this evening. This was my second time. I will never forget my first. With all the sophistication of modern electronics, i don't think it is possible to record the amazing feel the Hammond/Leslie can produce when you are sitting in front of it. You just have to be there when it happens.
Add a harpist, a great singer, and a bass, and - well, I thought maybe the rapture was finally upon us tonight.
