+1. NOT to be an alarmist, but I am concerned that once you look, you will find that the bottoms of your door pillars and rockers are also affected. You need to peel back your door sills and poke around a bit. See my recent thread in this forum (and of course many others before me), my '86 had similar bubbles, and they are caused by the accumulation of debris and dirt that trap moisture at those spots, classic 911 rocker rust. By the time you see those bubbles at the base of the door pillar, it has eaten through from the inside out. Why Porsche did not have a fender liner to prevent this is beyond me, but this is just one of those 911 quirks (like say, the instrument panel wiring) that makes you wonder whether beer for lunch at the design center was such a great idea. I hope yours is not serious.
