After three years of keeping my 928 as a broken garage queen I am starting to experience the benefits of driving a 1984 928 to work each day- 60 mile total commute.
Too many benefits to list, but here is short list:
COST:
-the MPG is much better than anticipated, which is just slightly worse than my old E 420 Mercedes
-87 octane fuel is cheaper than 91
-insurance and registration is dirt cheap.
COMFORT:
-rpm comfort, I drive 70 miles per hour or so, well under 2,300 rpm, which is smooth...and relatively quiet.
-seats, my black leather seats are in really good condition and very comfortable for me.
