If they start checking cars on the highway, a butt load of state politicians out for a weekend in their sports cars will get bent or they'll prodded by their celebrity friends in old corvettes and nothing will happen.
On another note, if I drive my Dodge Dakota for 45000 miles a year and my 914 for 3,000 miles or less a year---which damages the environment more?
