in 1977, I rode with my Uncle from Yuba City to the Porsche dealership in Oakland, Ca. My uncle purchased a used black 1973 911T Coupe. I was 19 then and followed him and the 911 home driving his Dodge truck. In 1980, the clutch failed in the 911 and my uncle parked it in his garage.
At Christmas, 2004, I was bragging to my uncle about the Yellow 1973 914 2.0 FI that I had just bought, driving it back to Sacramento from Portland. About mid January, 2005, my uncle called me, outta-da-blue and said, "if you want my Porsche, get a trailer and come get it". I did and it been a rewarding project. I drive it most weekends if it's not raining.
