IME the stuff comes up with just a putty knife. It takes some effort, but I never had to use a heat gun, dry ice, or chemicals.

BTW - B, you must be including the firewall pads? The floor tar itself on my car was only 12lbs or so. The inner firewall pad is a heavy mother though.

I am collecting the stuff in a bag so I can weigh it when done.
