I was working for a Tampa Bay news affiliate and we covered this a lot (and I've seen far more of it than the normal viewer), I agree that the whole family is messed up.
I wouldn't be surprised if Casey's parents knew about it and kept silent. The only thing is, only Casey is on the hook & it seems the rest of the family will let her take the fall.
