I noticed buffeting caused by my factory seat belts vibrating. This went away when I went to a harness bar using four point with breakaway technology (works like a 3 point). The chasis got noticeably stiffer going with a harness bar also.

I've driven the same road when it was less humid and there was a fairly strong side wind and it got super noisy at closer to 60-70mph. It's loud enough that you have to raise your voice to carry on a conversation, but the buffeting seems to come and go as the weather changes. As mentioned above though, its about a love for open air, so for long trips I keep some ear plugs and eye drops in the car to go with the sun screen.
