While the GP35/BHP has a grand history behind it, IMHO they don't shoot as nicely "out of the box" as a 1911. The magazine disconnect and the long trigger reset make for a much less satisfying shooting experience. Not to say they aren't fun. All pistols are fun, in some way or another.

Congrats on the paperwork, Stijn. Red tape like that is reserved for such "nasty" things as short barreled rifles and sound suppressors, where I live.
